Μeteora, Pella, Vergina, Τhessaloniki, Dion, Delfi

We drive north of Athens on the highway to get to the Tomb of Thermopylae. There stands the bronze statue of the Spartan king Leonidas, dedicated to men that fall till last one, 300 Spartan soldiers in the homonymous battle against the Persians.
Then our journey we will be the enchanting Meteora.There, beyond the singularity that offers the landscape, we have the opportunity to visit some of the six monasteries that literally hang from the towering cliffs, unique spectacle in the world.

1st Night
The second day we started our visits to some of the traditional monasteries at Meteora and about noon we depart for Naoussa the duration of our trip together with the necessary stops the dome through the Egnatia highway is approximately three hours. The afternoon is free to enjoy the exceptional city of beauty.

2nd Night
Next day includes our visit to two excellent spots of the region. The first stop is at Vergina (ancient Aigai), the first Macedonian capital in antiquity. The city was built in the 7th century BC and became a political and religious capital of the Macedonians. Here, we visit the royal tombs were unearthed in 1977. One of these tombs belong to Philip II (the father of Alexander the Great), where offerings were found (burial objects) inestimable historical value. Then see the waterfalls of Edessa and dine in the beautiful municipal REFRESHMENTS next to waterfalls. Afternoon coffee in baths ARIDAIAS-swank.

Pozar ( Loutraki ) located in Pella lie at the foot of Mount Kaimaktsalan. The area is built on the banks of THERMOPOTAMOU that crosses the region. Final stop is Pella, the second Macedonian capital of antiquity and Alexander the Great homeland. The mosaics that decorate the floors of the houses of that time was beautiful. Then we will visit the archaeological site and the small, but very significant, museum. We end our day with our arrival in Thessaloniki.

3rd Night
On the fourth day we dedicate our breakfast in the most beautiful , perhaps, Greek city a city tour for two to three hours and depart for Dion in Pieria. The holy city of Macedonians gained great reputation and shine when the throne of Macedonia ascended Archelaos, who founded Dion famous festivals, such Dion Olympia. Philip B ' after each victorious campaign came to Dion to sacrifice. Alexander the Great in Dion spent a grand total -ftiagmeno by sculptor Lyssipo- 25 bronze horseback young Macedonians. 4th Night
On the last day of this 5-day tour will visit Delphi, Arachova breathtaking, the monastery of Saint Luke, as in classic tour of Delphi and late afternoon we will arrive at the hotel in Athens .
